With these products as dictated by the ambient conditions, the heat load from the system may be rejected using 100% dry cooling, or a proportion of wet and dry cooling. This gives the water savings of a dry system but also the low cooled temperature of wet cooling. With the intelligent control system package energy costs are slashed and water is conserved to a fraction of wet system demands.
The
WDW Closed Circuit Cooler range can drastically cut
operating costs by very significantly reducing water
consumption in areas where water is scarce and price
for water and bleed to sewer is high.
It also provides the advantage of zero
plume even in winter operation. The WDW cooler rejects heat from the process
fluid to the atmosphere using a combination of evaporative (latent) heat and
dry (sensible) heat during the cooling operation.
WDC Wet/Dry Condensers
These units combine the two primary heat rejection methods of evaporative and dry air condensing for conventional industrial refrigeration systems ingeniously in a single package. Resulting in the advantages of both systems:
- Low condensing temperatures
- Highest efficiency heat rejection
- Low axial fan power
- Cutting refrigeration compressor power
- Significant reduced water make up demands
- Partial annual elimination of any required water treatment regime
- Partial annual water effluent discharge
- Reduced scaling and biological fouling
